Still working on the incredible story we promised, we wanted to show you a video that we think it can change the world for the better, and the song couldn’t be a perfect fit for everything we belive in this world.
After watching this video, we realized that stories like this need to be even more promoted and so we thought of a great idea.
How about having a competition of inspiring true stories you where the people of your community, including you, stood up for a neighbour, and helped this sir or madam to overcome his or her struggle!
No talent is required to submit a story for this competition, as we will transform your work into a one of a kind Coffeebooksong masterpiece!
So, the rules for the N.Merrynote 4A competition are the following:
1. The story’s text has to be in English or Romanian, so that we can perfectly understand what happened.
2. You have to send us at least a page of text, including the facts and figures as best you can.
3. At least a picture taken during the event to prove it really happened.
4. A few song suggestions would make us realize what you felt during this process, and as usual we want them to be happy and with a positive message. In the end we will pick just one song.
5. The email address where you can send us your work is nmerrynote@gmail.com , thus making me the owner of the content you sent.
6. The story with the most potential will be declared the winner in a special post that will explain the reasons behind our decision.
7. When we would have a final form of the story we will sent you a copy of it, so that it will be as close as what happened and what you felt. In case you are not happy with the result we will edit the story again, going again through this loop no more than three times.
At each iteration, we will wait three days your written approval to publish the story. If we don’t get a reply during this time frame, we will publish it.
8. At the end of this great collaboration you will :
a. receive a special gift from us.
b. you will me mentioned in the contributor’s list to the story.
c. we will display a link to a project you are supporting, for a week. The link will be displayed next to your name in the above mentioned list.
Of course the project has to be something that the Coffeebooksong Studios can relate to in terms of values and goals.
9. Same rules as above are applied if you send us a video, but since we can’t edit it, you will have to get it right the first time, and we are offering a two-week link display of the project you want to support.
We are so excited about this competition and we can’t wait to read your stories and work together on the next big thing that will inspire many people!

This post was by far the most challenging one. We say we did it, but we’ll very much appreciate your comments on whether or not you felt the same way. Thank you.
At the same time, it’s the most special one, because we get to honor our very first story request! made by our dear friend Mihaela Cruceru, who trusted us to make her day and yours also, with this Saint Valentine’s post, and for pushing our imagination and team spirit to the limit.
As I gathered my incredible team around our small round studio table, we began one of the greatest brain storming sessions we have ever had, generated by a sound success, we sketched this special story as a one that has to deliver an insanely great card for this special event, a few pieces of advice gathered in years of “for better of worse”, and of course an amazing song that will lift your hearts to a better place, and dance around in each other’s arms the whole night, while great happiness and thankfulness for finding one another would put a special sparkle in your eyes.
…hmmmm…could it possibly get even better than this…we searched the answer a whole day…despite these great ideas, something was missing.
And then it struck us. How about delivering a song so great, so deep, so meaningful to your relationship, that will become your song!
Inserting this last element into our story sketch, we went straight to work. The effort was considerable.
After a wild search, we found this incredible picture in an old hard disk or ours, and we would very much like to give credit to this magnificent artist who made it, except that the picture is not signed and we have no clue where we got it from years ago.

Finally, the song choice was incredible hard, and it wasn’t a while ago since we find it, but we think it stands a good chance of becoming your song, the general idea of this post and a new Coffeebooksong Studios mile stone to be reached : offering the soundtrack to a love story.

As we are developing the next big thing in our wonderful little studio, we stopped for a second to say a hi and to share with you some of the greatest news of 2013, if not the greatest.
You are given the privilege, yet again, to change everything! for the better, give hope and inspire a whole planet…what could be more exciting than this!
We believe, you could be the next game-changer that cold solve a problem that no one else can. You should too.
Of course we will enter with an amazing project about a new way to read books, because we’re crazy about technology, computer languages and science in general. More than everything we think reading can save one’s life.

Just last week we introduced the content for our “About us” page, and we hope it makes everything more clear about us and our work.
Yes, we took our time, but we think that it was for the best, and now the studios have an inspiring, fine, and representing logo, namely the elegant two piece golden medallion.
The inspiring stories that led to the creation of this artwork, will be shared with you soon.

As we lacked inspiration for text, we wanted to have our own picture again, and since the music we planed to rise your spirits more than ever was going to be produced on the 1st of January at mid day, we took our time until now.
After two days of hard work we came up with this New Year card, which we are thrilled to offer you :
As it was inspired by our great King Michael I of Romania, we would like to explain the elements that decorate this card.
The faded red curtain is decorated with our King’s seal, where M and the little I stands for Michael I, the faded blue curtain the upper right corner is decorated with the seal of our worthy Queen Anne of Romania, two A’s taking almost the form of a cross, and the faded yellow curtain in the middle is decorated with a crown, not the Romanian one, to suggest that the seals on the left and right are royal ones.
A bit lower on the right hand side is the simplified form of the Grand Cross of the Victorian Order, which our King posses since 1937, Knight grade, making him one of the sixty people ever to receive such a distinction starting from 1896.
Of course we couldn’t be more proud of him and grateful for his impeccable service of country for seventy-two years in a row.
The small balls on the left and right are Christian ropes. They are a constant reminder to us that we must respect the teachings of God, and pray more often, so willing for you to do the same, we included them in our design.
In black, blue and gold is a cordon that holds the Romanian Royal Family’s motto, “Nihil side Deo”, Latin for “Nothing without God”, and since it’s also ours, we had to decorate the last part of the card with it, as a conclusion.
The text and our first released banner is enclosed in the shape of a cross, and it represents a simplified version of our coat of arms, where the top half is wishing to inspire you, and bottom half, our name.
All of this inspired by the fact that King Michael I coat of arms will be forever displayed inside the Royal Chapel of the Savoy in London starting from November 2012, making him the first non-British monarch to receive so much respect for his lifetime work.
While the card is for our dear readers, today’s music is dedicated to King Michael I of Romania for being an everyday inspiration and example of, above all, leadership(through kindness) and strong spirit.

Just a month ago we went on to inspire a whole world through art, excellence and generosity using nothing but our personal laptops, semi-pro tools and the will to gave it our best shot.
From the beginning we knew that this is our personal cause and we will always be determined to pass every obstacle so that many people can create amazing things, inspire in their turn and give back to others less fortunate.

More than we hoped for in the first month of activity, it gave us everything we needed to believe that we are doing the right thing, work even harder, train even harder, be even more careful to detail, even more responsible to our studio work.
For talking our time to read our stories, commenting rate or share them with your friends, making us truly happy but most of all saving our lives from our personal problems, the Coffeebooksong artists are talking a deep bow before you, our readers.
Besides the promise of inspiring you with every new story, we created a beautiful sketch as great appreciation for inspiring us each day for a month,

We wanted the song to be delivered through a performance that can crate an atmosphere of celebration, to have an incredible happy tune, to be flamboyant, and to express how we feel every time we read your comments.

Forth, the studio made it’s first money on 9th of December 2012 by offering it’s first guitar lesson to one dear reader, who, inspired by our great music posted on the blog, got in touch with us and asked if we can deliver beginner acoustic guitar lessons.
We said “You bet !”. He was very pleased and we are meeting again this week to do what we love : inspire through sound. “And it’s always good to do something you love.”

As the title says, we are taking a different approach to the story, so for the moment we are working really hard on a new version.
What happened ?
We were in a pretty big mess Friday night, and so we started doing the things we love most, like playing the guitar, taking pictures, and tried get our minds off it.
I turned my attention to a socialization platform, so to seek out new brands that we want to associate our name with, and I discovered a treasure.
Not sure about it, I read the full article and got a close attention to the picture it was about. It filled my heart with joy, pride of being a Romanian and the miracle happened. I was inspired. By whom ? Well, it’s a story of its own, but for short a wonderful child of this great country won a pretty big competition. Hope we have the chance to get her an interview and have her art displayed.
Shining even more than a diamond ring in the lights of a russian palace ballroom, I called my artists and explained them my idea.
If only you could see their faces…they were so touched by the drawing that I was referring that all of them decided to draw his own version of the image.
Normally in this case I should have look for great music to go with one or more of their drawings, but as the music they have chosen to work on was so appealing to me, their faces shined more and more touched by their passion for paper wood and color and as our nation’s child drawing kept fascinating my eyes and heart, I couldn’t resist and join them table bringing my tools for creating inspiring work.
But as we sketched for two hours in a row, we were not making any progress in terms of Coffeebooksong standards, which are higher than a fighter jet can fly.
Discouraged, we decided to take a walk, just go out and enjoy the peace. solitude and listen to the inspiring sound of night.
We returned late, but I have persuaded my wizards that their efforts were most cherished and you, our dear reader, will forgive us for not delivering on time.
Couldn’t close an eye all night, haunted by the fact we let you all down.
We expect nothing else than perfection in everything we do from concept to final version, and when you don’t have a formal training on any art subject that we do, it’s a risk that what you are trying to create may take longer than expected.
Got off from bed, went to the drawing board, and not even realizing I searched for the song that was sang on the battlefields of World War I by our musical genius who we mentioned in our last teaser. Willing to go to war with nothing but a violin to heal the inside wounds of your brothers who fight for your better tomorrow…
By instinct I started sketching a book, and what I have discovered…it shall be shared with you soon.
For now I can only say that I stayed up 5 hours that rest of the night and yesterday another 6 hours. It’s coming out pretty nice, got some amazing feedback from my wizards and from other experts, and I am sure you’ll love it.
I can’t wait to share…
